Through Steve’s experience as an athlete, he understands what it takes to enjoy sport and be successful. As such, he invests his time coaching a number of athletes across various events via 1:1 sessions, group training and school athletic programs.
Recently appointed as the Athletics Australia National Junior Coach (NJC) for Combined Events as well as heading the multi events squad for the Athletics Victoria Target Talent Program and involvement with Little Athletics Junior Development Squad (JDS), reflects the respect the athletic community has for Steve.
Steve is currently the Head Coach of Athletics for Strathcona and St. Michaels Grammar as well as Head Sprints Coach for St. Kevin’s College who have had great success in APS Athletics, having won 8 of the past 10 titles.
His multi disciplinary knowledge and experience as an athlete and sport scientist, coupled with his ten years of leadership experiences at Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA), combine for a powerful coaching experience.
